The offices of the FSAI are located in Abbey Court, beside the Abbey Street entrance to the Irish Life Mall. The main entrance to the office is from Lower Abbey Street.
Walking from O’Connell Street
- Turn off O’Connell Street onto Lower Abbey Street (The Grand Central Bar and TSB are at either corner).
- Continue on Lower Abbey Street, through the junction with Marlborough Street.
- Follow the signs for the Irish Life Car Park (on the left hand side, opposite the VHI Building).
- At the entrance to the Irish Life Shopping Mall you’ll see an escalator/stairs on your left. Take these stairs and at the top, keep to the right. Follow the signs for the Food Safety Authority of Ireland.
- The FSAI reception area is on the ground floor of the building, on the right hand side of the main security desk as you enter the building.
- Please buzz the door for access.
Walking from Talbot Street
- Walk up Talbot Street, through the junction with Gardiner Street heading towards North Earl Street.
- Enter the Irish Life Shopping Mall from Talbot Street.
- Walk through the Irish Life Shopping Mall and taking a right at L’Avenue Hair and Beauty, you will exit close to the Irish Life Car Park.
- Once through the automatic doors at the exit, on your right you will see an escalator/stairs.
- Take these stairs and at the top, keep to the right. Follow the signs for the Food Safety Authority of Ireland.
- The FSAI reception area is on the ground floor of the building, on the right hand side of the main security desk as you enter the building.
- Please buzz the door for access.
Driving from O’Connell Bridge (North Quays)
- Turn off O’Connell Bridge onto Eden Quay.
- Take the first left onto Marlborough Street.
- Go past the Abbey Theatre and take a right turn at the traffic lights onto Lower Abbey Street.
- The Irish Life Car Park is on the left hand side (opposite the VHI Building). This is the best place to park as of office is located in the same building.
- Coming out of the car park, make your way to the entrance to the Irish Life Shopping Mall.
- At the entrance to the Irish Life Shopping Mall you’ll see an escalator/stairs on your left. At the top of the stairs, keep to the right and follow the signs for the Food Safety Authority of Ireland.

Driving from Parnell Square (Northside)
- Turn left at the bottom of Parnell Square onto Parnell Street.
- Take the first right off Parnell Street onto Marlborough Street.
- Drive down Marlborough Street, pass the Department of Education on the left and the Pro-Cathedral on the right, until you come to a set of traffic lights at Lower Abbey Street (the Flowing Tide pub is on the right hand corner).
- Take a left turn at the lights onto Lower Abbey Street and take the next left turn into the Irish Life Car Park (opposite the VHI Building)
- This is the best place to park as of office is located in the same building.
